O projecto foi pensado a partir do nivelamento do tecto principal para ocultação dos desencontros entre vigamentos de betão. A pintura a cinza faz sobressair a beleza e dimensão das pranchas de mogno maciço aplicadas nas prateleiras, assim como, o granito do pavimento. O vão-fachada foi desenhado com duas folhas para tornar ajustável a relação entre interior e exterior. Complete alteration of a retail space from 1970, to be used as&nbsp; costumer service and office for a bottled gas delivery company. The project strated by leveling the main ceiling to hide the mismatches between beams of the concrete structure. The gray painting brought out the beauty and size of the mahogany planks on the shelves, as well as, the granite floor tiles. Construção simples e contida em que a expressão arquitectónica se resume à justa proporção dos espaços e vãos e à combinação sensível dos materiais naturais e suas texturas e cores. Betão afagado à colher, reboco de cal fina à cor natural, mármore, granito, aço e madeira maciça de carvalho e sucupira. Small house by the sea structured over 3 levels with 20cm steps. Bedroom and living room organized on the first level inside an existing area, kitchen a bathroom on a second level and finally a patio connected to the kitchen. Soalho envernizado, mosaico hidráulico tradicional 20x20cm monocromático verde seco, carpintarias originais, azulejo branco 10x10cm em chacota tradicional, mármore branco de Estremoz, reboco de gesso afagado à colher. Trata-se duma técnica descendente do fresco que podemos ver em vários exemplos com maior detalhe em monumentos, igrejas e palácios e que teve utilização corrente como forma de adorno em muitos prédios de rendimento do centro de Lisboa até ao início do século passado. O apartamento estava muito degradado mas intacto no sentido em que nunca fora intervencionado desde a sua origem: um achado raro em lisboa nos dias de hoje. Considerando que era inviável uma reabilitação integral e canónica optámos por reabilitar e manter tudo o que fosse possível, pavimentos, carpintarias, acabamentos,&nbsp; renovando todas as infraestruturas e tapando roços novos e velhos com reboco de gesso afagado à colher. Beautiful existing fresco walls in shades of purple, rose and ochre: hand polished and painted stucco imitating local marble stone. The same technique you can find here on many monuments, old churches and palaces that we call “escaiola” and that was also used as adornment at the most noble current housing till the early 20th century Lisboa. This apartment was in very bad shape but virgin still, unchanged from its origin: a rare and quite unique example to find nowadays. Considering that a canonic rehab was not feasible on this case we opted to maintain all that was possible, original pavements, woodcraft, finishes, carefully renewing all infrastructures while Ao longo de quase um ano foram realizados trabalhos de investigação e inventariação de projectos elegíveis, selecção, listagem e mapeamento, visitas aos espaços, interpelação dos proprietários e instituições, escrita de todos os textos do guia, acompanhamento do trabalho de coordenação, produção, comunicação e serviço educativo. Uma visão de Lisboa excluindo espaços com localização central foi alcançada através de resultados inéditos: com uma redução significativa de espaços para 50 a diversidade de projetos desafiou ideias unívocas de arquitetura e do trabalho dos arquitetos, entre os quais 40 % têm autoria de mulheres arquitectas e mais de metade foram espaços inéditos no OHL. Over the course of a year, a diversity of works were developed. O orçamento e o tempo reduzidos para intervenção condicionaram fundamentalmente o projecto. Todos os elementos arquitectónicos pré-existentes foram reabilitados, os novos trabalhos de carpintaria, de alteração infra-estrutural e soluções de acabamento foram sintetizados permitindo experimentar soluções mais simples, menos convencionais e espacialmente mais flexíveis. Foram utilizados elementos arquitectónicos que o dono de obra tinha em armazém, nomeadamente azulejos de produção industrial da segunda metade do século XX. Refurbishment of a 1930s apartment in the center of Lisbon, entirely conditioned by very small budget and time for intervention. All pre-existing architectural elements were refurbished and new carpentry work, infrastructural alteration and finishing solutions were synthesized, allowing for simpler, less conventional and spatially more flexible solutions to be tried. Architectural elements supplied by the developer were applied. AML 2014 - 2016 Outra Lisboa começou em 2014 como projecto de viagens urbanas, que nos sete percursos desenhados, questionava concepções, segregações e os limites urbanos de Lisboa. A associação do projecto à edição da Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa 2016 e o apoio do Centro para Estudos Sócio-Territoriais DINAMIA’CET-ISCTE IUL, permitiram alargar os temas das visitas urbanas, através de entrevistas e debates com pessoas que estudaram ou trabalharam os lugares e os temas explorados: A hegemonia do urbano sobre a ideia de cidade (Odivelas); Formas de segregação urbana (Amadora e Cova da Moura); Processos de Urbanismo contemporâneo (Olivais e Parque das Nações); Ideias de Modernidade (Amoreiras e Alcântara); Expansão metropolitana (Almada); Modelos espaciais metropolitanos (Alvalade e Campo Grande).Saber mais em&nbsp;︎ e&nbsp;︎ Another Lisbon began in 2014 with a map of seven urban walks, which questioned conceptions, segregations and urban limits of Lisbon. The association of the project with the 2016 Lisbon Architectural Triennial edition and the support of the Center for Socio-Territorial Studies DINAMIA'CET-ISCTE IUL, have made it possible to broaden the themes of the walks, through interviews and public debates with people who have studied or worked about the sites and explored themes: The hegemony of the urban over the idea of city (Odivelas);
